Graças a Deus estava enganado.

  • I found out about Hoffman Fitness through Facebook. When I first saw that Philip Hoffman was having a contest, I honestly hadn't heard much about him and wasn't sure what the contest was going to hold for me. After emailing Philip and talking with him back and forth he was very forth coming and honest and instructed me to read his website and credentials. I found this very comforting and after reading through his website and some of the other testimonies and his own personal testimony I knew he was the real deal, someone that wouldn't try to sell me on a system he didn't fully believe in.

My results: 1. Reduced my waistline 5” while losing 17 lbs, mostly from my belly, hips and thighs 2. Increased energy levels and more focused in school 3. Starting weight 155 lbs., current weight 138 lbs. 4. My self-esteem skyrocketed

The results I've gotten have been unchangeable. I'm a college student so my life is pretty hectic. After being on the meal plan Phil gave me to follow I started to notice that I wasn't as tired by the end of the day as I had been and that my energy level was higher and I was much more focused when studying on the new meal plan. I noticed my training was getting better and I wasn't as out of breath my the end of my workout.

The changes I have experienced while on this journey both physically and mentally have left me with no desire to go back to my old ways. 5" smaller and I am 17 pounds lighter. I’m now at my goal weight. I started off this contest at 155 and I am now at 138. Which still may seem like a lot to some of you but for the type of training I do it is right where I want to be. My stomach has leaned out, I can actually see the line going down the middle of my stomach and ab muscles are becoming more defined along with the rest of my body. And my core alone is so much stronger now.

Mentally and emotionally this contest did so much for me. Because throughout a series of events I had become what we would call an "emotional eater" not all the time, not every day and maybe not even every week, but I would become an emotional eater at some points and I had grown to hate that about myself. I trained hard every day so this didn't make me become over weight but it did effect my ability to perform and my muscle definition and I could tell I had gained weight around my stomach and mid-section. Through Philip’s nutritional/eating program, this went away.  One thing I absolutely loved that Phil gave us was a "master grocery list" It made going to the store so much easier and faster.

One thing I had trouble doing before was knowing exactly how much I needed to eat for my body, and how to measure it out and how to find the breakdown of macro-nutrients. Phil helped with all of this. He was always so willing to help if any of us had questions and was straight forward with us on what we need to eat and how much. I also didn't realize that preparing my meals on Sunday would help me throughout the week. Cooking is so time-consuming and I didn't have a lot of time during the week to fix meals. Now that I have started preparing earlier in the week, I will never go back to my old ways.

Being on this journey with Phil has been such a great experience and I have had so many wonderful changes happen through these 12 weeks. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for this opportunity.

I would recommend HoffmanFit to anyone, because Philip Hoffman is committed to his clients and is committed to helping them make the best of themselves. Not to say that you don't have to put in the hard work, because at times it can be tough. But Philip is there to help you along and encourage you even when you mess up. This plan is not just a weight loss plan but it is a lifestyle change. Philip will teach you how to make that change and trust me, it is a change for the better! If you are dedicated and willing to put in the work HoffmanFit is for you!

  • For the past 3 years i have been searching for the formula so to speak with my diet and training that will work for me. I began hitting the gym religiously while on deployment in the Army. Learned a few things from my friends but never had the right grasp on a solid diet or even the right way to train. I fell into the trap that this "awesome" new supplement will do the trick. Fast forward to late 2012 i began speaking to Michael Dixon. Communicated with him for awhile and saw what he was doing. I was impressed and said that was what i was looking for as far as results. He eventually told me about Hoffman Fit. Low and behold what he was preaching prior to introducing Hoffman Fit to me was exactly what the Hoffman Fit program teaches. So a diet and philosophy of training that allows me to maintain a lean muscular body year round is what i am hoping to achieve.

At the start of the program i was 162 pounds and wore a size 34 jeans. I am only 5'6. Now after completing the 12 weeks i weigh 147 pounds and wear  a size 32 jeans but can fit in a 30. I learned quite a bit, not knowing how easy it can be. Thats one of the great things about Hoffman Fit, its a full proof system that's not complicated or time consuming like one might think. The nutrition was the biggest change and benefit to me. When you think you're eating the right way and not seeing the results the way you like  versus a highly nutritious and delicious diet that immediately works. But that's not where it ends cause this is not a diet program its a body/lifestyle transformation that is sustainable. As i stated before my goal is too have a lean muscular body year round. Don't wanna give any details away, but the Hoffman fit philosophy of training is in fact the right way. In the past i was for sure a victim of over training certain parts of the body. With the nutrition aspect and the training its guarenteed to get results and i am happy what i have achieved thus far. But this is only the beginning.

  • The first time I did Phil’s body transformation program was in 2013. I read his book, ate clean, and went to the gym 4 times a week. I was happy with the results – I achieved what I needed to achieve at that time in my life. More importantly, I came away with a clear understanding that I have finally found a sustainable way to live healthy and fit. In August 2014, I signed up to do the transformation program again with new goals – I wanted his guidance to achieve more muscle definition, and to get to my preferred weight range. During this time, I went to the gym 6 times a week, ate clean, and paid much closer attention to the calories and macronutrients. The net result after 12 weeks: I lost 12 pounds and 19 inches. I am 3 pounds under my “preferred” weight range. I feel healthy and lean. I am sleeping much better. My clothes… let’s just say that even my “skinny” clothes are loose.

I started working with trainers in 2011. That is when the confusion exacerbated with what to eat, when to eat, what exercises I should do, which machines to use, the need to change the exercise routine often so I wouldn't plateau, how I should take supplements, the protein bars I should buy, how I should eat 6 small meals, how I need to do a lot of cardio, etc.  When I told my trainer that I had never felt worse and that I had never been so heavy, my trainer said it was because of my age and hormones.  There are no quick fixes, fads, or gimmicks with Phil. He teaches you the real thing and follows his own program. The best part is his advice to forget everything you’ve learned in the past. I was glad to forget everything I knew because nothing was working. Phil got me on the right track with food and the exercise program I need to follow.

Phil teaches you everything you need to know to create healthy meals without taking so much time. There is plenty of variety in the food that I eat, and I eat food that I enjoy. Even though this was a 12-week program, the program doesn’t end. HoffmanFit is a lifestyle that is practiced in a sustainable way for life. I can have a cheat meal here and there and not worry about it because I now have good habits and a system that I stick with every day. I don’t have to worry about the question “what do I do next?”

I thought the hardest part was going to be switching from going to the gym 4 times a week to 6 times a week -- not so! For me, the 6-day routine is much easier. I know exactly what I need to do each day, and I am in and out of the gym in 40 minutes or less. I focus on heavier weights and correct form to build strength and definition, just as Phil suggests. Each week the weight slowly moved downward, but it was the inches that came off quicker, and I could see better shape and overall definition in my body.

I am grateful to Phil for his knowledge and help. The HoffmanFit System is simple, effective, and sustainable for living healthy and fit!

  • I am an Emergency Room Physician practicing for 29 years. I am going to be 60 yrs. old this August 18, 2013 and I decided I wanted to get in the best shape of my life.

Through the years I have worked out off and on but never got trim and fit with a sculpted body. I knew I needed the nutritional part of it and I had to lose fat to achieve it. I had been considering hiring a nutritionist but I didn’t want somebody telling me that same old cliché to “eat a well-balanced diet”. The problem is knowing which foods to prepare and in what amounts and how to do it. This is very difficult to understand much less follow, and it seems like there aren’t many professionals that know how to break this information to show you in a step by step program how to put everything together.

As I'm waiting in my doctor’s office one day, I look over and notice a magazine and on the front cover is this guy who looks unbelievably fit. It caught my attention because every muscle in his body was defined and sculpted. Very healthy and trim. And then I see on the cover that he’s 53 years old! I thought, wow! How is it possible for someone to be so fit and look so young?

I said “I want to follow whatever program this guy teaches. I started reading the article and noticed that besides teaching you about how to workout he focuses on nutritional guidance. I also noticed that Philip has a very extensive level of education with a master’s degree in biochemistry, something that’s important to me coming from a background in science myself.

The HoffmanFit program was exactly what I was looking for although I was still skeptical because I thought here we go again....another quick-fix diet or gimmick. I picked up the phone and gave him a call. In a couple of days Philip returned my call to my surprise. My life was about to change forever.

We started chatting about nutrition and workouts. I remember him saying to me “you’re going to have to do the work if you want results...I will teach you how to purchase healthy foods and how to prepare the meals exactly how I do every day for myself”. He also insisted that I read a book he wrote on Amazon titled, “The 9 Principles for a Lean & Defined Body” to prepare myself for his program. Everything Philip preaches he also follows himself.

Next, he met me at Sprouts Farmer’s Market and we shopped for groceries while he explained every food item on his Master Grocery List he provided me. He also taught me why each food was good for you and how we were going to prepare it.  What was interesting to me was Philip taught me how to buy every food item and where to get it at the best price.

We went home and started learning the system. It took 2 1/2 hrs. of preparation and my refrigerator had food prepared for a week. All I had to do is pull things out and I could prepare a meal in 10 minutes. I learned how to prepare the meals and eat healthy. This was very helpful to me because of my profession. I work in a very stressful Emergency Department, days- nights and I needed to save time.

My initial concern was that I would not have enough food to eat and would be hungry. Wrong, it was plenty of food and I didn’t feel deprived. That’s because Philip believes that if an eating program isn’t sustainable, it will never be successful. He teaches you a lifestyle, not something that you only practice for a certain amount of time. I was a person that ate out at restaurants every day and would spend about $700-$800/month on food. Now I don’t eat out anymore and have much higher energy and save hundreds of dollars.

After learning about the nutritional program, Philip demonstrated how to workout with dumbbells since he believes there’s no better way to achieve a shapely, defined body. He showed me every exercise and how to correctly perform, while writing up a routine for me to follow. We decided to incorporate his split body-part routine since I committed to working out at least five days per week for 30 minutes a day.

Now, for the results of my work; I started the HoffmanFit program on March 20th, 2013 and in 8 weeks I lost 24 lbs. of body fat. I used to grab the fat around my belly all the time but now, there isn’t any to grab...yes!

My pants no longer fit me, and my energy level and stamina are beyond what I ever expected. People at work are telling me I look great, healthy and trim. Now everyone is asking “what are you doing”?

My best complement though came from my daughter when she saw me. She said "Dad you look so healthy and trim, and your skin glows. I am so proud of you”.

I will tell you a little secret of mine. All my life

  • I'm a 50 year old retired Army Veteran.  I have been fairly athletic my entire life, keeping myself in shape, and eating what I thought to be "healthy"!  After 10 years of military retirement and living somewhat of a sedentary lifestyle, my body began to change and go into a down-hill spiral.  I knew I needed to make a change, but I wasn't quite sure how to do it on my own.

I heard about Philip Hoffman through a friend and decided to visit his Facebook page "HoffmanFit".   After reading several of the posts on his page, I purchased his book:  "The 9 Principles For a Lean and Defined Body".  This book immediately captured my attention to a point where I couldn't put it down.  In fact, I read the book in its entirety and then read it again and again.  I continued to follow Phil’s page for a few months when one day I saw the post for his 12 week Six-Pack Ab Challenge.  I emailed Phil and asked if I could take part in this challenge.  After corresponding through email a few times, I was in the challenge!  The next 12 weeks would change my life FOREVER!

I went into the challenge weighing 188lbs at 5'10" in height with a waist size of 36".  Some would say that's not too bad.  However, I wasn't happy with my body and as a middle-aged man, I knew it would  continue to get worse!  In a very short period of time, I quickly realized that Philip Hoffman was a wealth of knowledge, very passionate about health & nutrition, and truly believed in educating people  to live a healthy & sustainable lifestyle.  Sustainable is the "key" as his program is not a crash diet!

Philip worked very closely with each and every person in the challenge.  We were educated on weight training, using proper form & technique, high-intensity training, time-under-tension, etc...We  were introduced to proper nutrition, calories/macronutrient breakdown, food preparation, and given some  of the best recipes that were very quick and easy to make!  The list goes on and on regarding the knowledge we received from Philip as he spent a copious amount of time with coaching and mentoring.

I followed the HoffmanFit program to the "T"....After 12 weeks, I couldn't have been more pleased!  I lost over 20lbs, my waist had gone from 36" to 30", my entire body was totally ripped, I had a ton of energy, and my confidence had skyrocketed!  This is absolutely a sustainable lifestyle that I will continue to live for the rest of my life.  I am so grateful to Philip Hoffman and highly recommend the HoffmanFit program to anyone looking to live a healthy & sustainable lifestyle!

  • Does Phil really follow his own program, or is he special somehow? Genetically gifted? And the program is just for the “rest of us”? Is this program just another fad to get my money? Does he really believe all that he wrote in that e-book/blog entry, or is this just some Hollywood muscle man who is selling fiction to the unhealthy masses?

You may find those questions hard to read, or even offensive. But I can guarantee you that somebody is on the hoffmanfit.com site right now and they are thinking these questions.

Here is what I know: Phil Hoffman is the real deal.

He is an evangelist for our health. Not just you and me – all of us. From the person he passes on the street to the next person who sends him an email.

He believes in each of us and our potential. He is deeply compassionate towards our problems, and simultaneously accepts none of them as excuses. And he practices what he teaches. Not because it is easy for him but because he knows it is the right thing to do.

How can I be so confident? A couple weeks ago my wife and I had the privilege of having Phil visit our home. I know that a visit like that for many of you is impractical. It doesn’t escape me how fortunate we were.

What we saw and heard was a regular human, learning each day to be better than he was the day before. We heard him talk about how easy it would be to spend a Sunday afternoon on the couch, with a good book and an open bag of chips at his side. Phil and my wife shared their passion for “the crunch” that chips provide. Makes me smile right now just writing that.

We talked about motivation for fitness, and how he doesn’t get the endorphin buzz some folks get from exercise. Fitness is hard work for Phil. Period.

We talked about stuff in his life that you’d never sign up for in a million years, but that he deals with every day.

And yet, he still writes down all his calories. He still calculates his macros. And he still gets his butt off the couch and into the gym. Because he knows it is the right thing to do.

Every day, we look for leaders in our lives. People who’ve earned our trust. People we want to follow.

Look no further than Philip Hoffman.

  • I started Phil’s program (Hoffmanfit) not sure of what to expect of myself even though I’ve known Phil for over 30 years, and being an athletic in my younger years I had the attitude I already knew what to do. I believe Phil is fit because he has discipline and determination as well as many years of experience and knowledge with his degrees. He also practices what he preaches like no one I’ve ever seen.

I started the 12-week program and during this time it was amazing how much I didn’t know and how easy Phil laid out the program to follow and guide you. The food preparation was a true joy to follow and now I’m hooked. The workouts were right to the point and geared towards fat burning results. I have more energy than ever, I feel better than I have in over 20 years, and I use the training and program as stress relief in my daily life.

Being healthy is by far the best way to live for overall happiness. I want to thank Phil (hoffmanfit) for making the second half of my life with being healthy. I feel great, look good and improving every day. I’m just getting started and the high I feel in life is incredible. I’m going to enjoy this journey and make it a lifestyle like it’s intended to be.

  • I had been following Phil's Facebook page for quite some time, I loved how all information that he had to offer was regarding healthy eating and lifting weights. I liked how he wasn't trying to sell you a supplements or some fancy shake for making miracle fat loss.

He provided some great exercises and very nice recipes to try.

I had been working out with weights for just over a year and I was ready to take it to the next step and was actually in the process of looking for a local coach and then that night I was browsing Facebook and came across Phil's 12 week abs challenge - and he was looking for candidates. Well I jumped at the chance to be part of this and sent him my details and pictures.

The 12 week abs challenge for me has been life changing. I have learnt so much about nutrition and how what you eat can affect your body. I didn't have a clue about macros, but with Phil's guidance I learnt about how much protein, carbohydrates and good fats we need to be lean in a sustainable way.

His exercises were fantastic, I loved how I only needed to be in the gym for 1 hour at a time 6 days a week. This was crucial to me as I needed something that would fit in with a busy life. recipes were wonderful and delicious - I still to this day have his sweet potato pancakes every morning.

I am 42 and I never thought I would have abs - I could not believe how my body changed over the 12 weeks building muscle and becoming lean.

Phil has showed me that if you are driven and you put in the hard work anything is possible, and for that I will be forever thankful.

  • Phil, where do I start? This has been and will continue to be a life changer. The changes that have occurred during this 12-week period are a testament to the HoffmanFit System. Having lifted off and on for over 25 years, I was always that guy that had to lift more, press more, and bench more than the other guys. By adjusting to your system and focusing on what I was putting into my body and lifting smarter and using correct form, I believe the before and after pictures speak for themselves.

I can't wait to continue this lifestyle and I have to send out a very special "Thank You" to Mike Dixon, Gary Waterfield, Loan-Anh the rest of our Team during this life change, and of course you Phil for all you’ve done to change my life!

Although, I've never met anyone face to face, I feel as though this group has basically grown up together through the sharing of the meals we prepared, the workout routines we did and now the transformation photos showing our progress.

I believe everyone on here that followed the HoffmanFit program has drastically improved the quality of their life and learned how to live a lifestyle rather than “be on a diet”. I know I've personally shared your system with my company and will continue to encourage my fellow employee's to jump onboard. You truly are an inspiration and because of you, I look forward to turning 50!

Anyway, attached are my pictures taken on 8-16-14 and the pictures taken today 11-16-14, I started this program at 252 lbs. and as of today I am at 215 lbs. I’m not done and will send you another update photo after losing the last of my body fat. I am so excited to continue your program and this lifestyle. Once again Thank you and you can bet your ass, I will always share the HF System with anybody that asks!

  • When I first met Phil I was training for a half marathon. I ran all the time and just wasn't seeing the results...or any results for that matter. I was at a standstill. After reading his book and looking at the program, I was hesitant at first that I would be able to follow it. When was I going to find the time to meal prep twice a week and lift weights, and still train for the half marathon? I have two little boys and am a full time doctor in a very busy OB/GYN practice, which means when I'm on call for a 24 hour shift, I'm usually at the hospital the whole time and get very little sleep, plus work a half day the next day.

Because of this, my lifestyle was based around convenience--I ate whatever I could easily grab or microwave and that didn't involve a lot of time. My "healthy" meals were microwavable prepackaged meals in the freezer section.

I'm a physician, I know better about nutrition and health. I counsel patients on weight loss. I knew what I was supposed to do, but putting it into practice when you're tired all the time required more thought than I was willing to give it. Then I met Phil, and his program laid it all out for me. I didn't have to really think about how to implement it. I just had to pick which meals I wanted to prep. And the prep work was very easy to do and it actually made the rest of my week so much easier to deal with.

All the food was already in the fridge, I just had to heat it or open it up. I was never hungry and my energy level soared. My kids loved a lot of the meals too--they ate all my sweet potato protein pancakes so I had to hide them when I made them! And the berry or papaya protein smoothie is still my staple breakfast meal.

As for the workouts, weight lifting was key to my weight loss success. Instead of concentrating so much on my running and focusing instead on making weight lifting a priority, the weight was finally falling off and I was toning up. And I didn't have to spend hours that I didn't have in the gym. The HoffmanFit Lean Body System is amazing and I highly recommend it. It actually made my crazy life a little easier!
